Felicity inverter error 15 (F15)

Output short

Fault — the inverter cuts its output and the red LED stays solid until the fault is cleared.

What it means

Output short — A short circuit is detected on the inverter AC output.

Cause: The AC output wiring or a connected load is short-circuited.

How to fix it

  1. If the AC input is on, cut off the AC input first, then turn off the inverter, disconnect all AC output wiring and turn it on again.
  2. If the screen still displays the fault, contact the repair center.
  3. If the inverter can work again, check the output wiring and load and make sure none of them are short-circuited.

Battery 2 software overvoltage fault — Battery 2 voltage is too high, the battery should be discharged.

Cause: The control firmware measured battery 2 voltage above the protection limit — the pack is overcharged or its configuration exceeds the inverter's battery range, and it should be discharged.

  1. Power down the inverter, wait 5 minutes for capacitors to discharge, then restart.
  2. If the fault recurs immediately or repeatedly, record the exact code and contact your installer or the manufacturer's service line.

PV2 voltage is too high — Fault event: PV input 2 voltage too high. Maximum allowed PV input voltage is 60Vdc; max PV voltage rating is 95V.

Cause: A fault has been detected in the PV input stage — usually a short, ground fault, or isolation failure between the PV array and the inverter chassis. Wet connectors, damaged cable insulation, or moisture in a junction box are common causes.

How to fix it

  1. Please check the voltage of the solar panel; it should be less than 95V.
  2. If the voltage is OK, please contact your installer.
