(3) Preference cookies -- to remember your language preference (English, Arabic, or French). No advertising or retargeting cookie is set today. The cookie banner still asks about advertising, so that introducing one later does not mean asking the whole audience a second time. Where consent is required before measurement, the banner asks first and nothing in category (2) runs until you answer; the essential cookies in category (1) run regardless, which is why they are not offered as a choice. Your answer sits in a cookie named _dcc for 180 days, and clearing this site's data in your browser brings the question back. You can also manage cookie preferences through your browser settings. Beyond the essentials, we record how you interact with each page: time spent and how much of it you are active, scroll depth, which elements you hover over and for how long, what you click, the terms you type into our on-site search, the filters you apply, and which form fields you complete or abandon. We record which field, never what you typed into it, and never payment or password fields. A first-party cookie identifies your browser — not you personally — for up to two years so we can recognise a returning visitor and know which channel first brought you to us. Your approximate location is derived from your IP address and is accurate only to city level; we do not request or use your device's GPS position. We collect page performance measurements, JavaScript errors and failed image loads from your session, together with your device's graphics chipset and processor core count, so we can find pages that perform badly on real devices in your market. When you use our comparison tool, error-code lookup or cart, we record the options you choose and where you stop, including quantities. We infer a likely audience segment from your browser language and time zone; this is an estimate used only for aggregate reporting, never to change the price or terms shown to you. The same time zone serves a second purpose: it tells us whether local law requires your permission before any measurement. In most of the countries we serve it does not, so no banner is shown and measurement starts immediately. Your answer to the cookie banner is recorded with us as well as in your browser -- the date, the brand and market, the reading language, how it was given and the pseudonymous visitor identifier -- and kept 790 days, so what was chosen and when can be produced.
Third-Party Services & Data Sharing
We share personal information with: (1) Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics -- for website usage statistics. These are pseudonymous, not anonymous: the figures hang on an identifier that marks a browser for up to two years, and that identifier holds nothing that names you. (2) Shipping and logistics partners -- to arrange product delivery. (3) Payment processors -- we do not store full credit card numbers on our servers. (4) Local installation and service partners -- only when you explicitly request on-site installation or servicing. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.
Data Retention
We retain your personal information for the following periods: (1) Customer account and order data -- for 7 years from the date of your last transaction, as required for tax and accounting purposes under UAE law. (2) Contact form inquiries -- for 2 years. (3) Website analytics and behaviour records -- removed automatically once they are 26 months old; they are deleted, not retained in an anonymised form. (4) Marketing communication preferences -- until you unsubscribe or request deletion.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information. All data transmissions between your browser and our website are encrypted using SSL/TLS protocols (HTTPS). Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel who need it to perform their job functions.
