Felicity Solar IVPS3524 2.8kW Single-Phase Inverter / Charger features

  • 2.8 kW rated, 2.8 kW backup, on 24 V

The IVPS3524 carries 2.8 kW continuously and the same 2.8 kW as backup rated power, from a single battery input at 24 V nominal.

  • 40 A charger, 28.8 V boost then 27.2 V float

    The utility charger reaches 40 A, boosts at 28.8 V and floats at 27.2 V, capped at 31.5 V across a 21-31.5 V battery window.

  • 15 ms transfer with 2x surge for 5 s

Switching between a 90-280 V utility supply and the battery takes 15 ms, and the unit surges to twice rated power for 5 s.

  • 26 kg net, 29.4 kg gross

The low-frequency transformer build weighs 26 kg net and 29.4 kg gross in a 552 x 408 x 295 mm carton, which is the packed size and not the unit's own.

  • 30 A output overcurrent protection

Output overcurrent is limited to 30 A, with air-switch overload protection and 220 V held to 5% regulation at 50/60 Hz.

  • 6 units in parallel, RS485 to the BMS

Up to 6 IVPS3524 units run in parallel, with RS485 to the battery BMS, RS232 for monitoring and an LCD with LED indicators.

About the Felicity Solar IVPS3524 2.8kW Single-Phase Inverter / Charger

The Felicity Solar IVPS3524 is a single-phase inverter/charger rated 2.8 kW on a 24 V battery bank, with a 40 A charger, 90% peak efficiency and a 15 ms transfer between utility and battery. It weighs 26 kg net, 29.4 kg gross, and ships in a 552 x 408 x 295 mm carton. Its low-frequency transformer build takes AGM, Flooded, Li-Ion and Self-Defined batteries across a 21-31.5 V window, boosting at 28.8 V, floating at 27.2 V, capped at 31.5 V, and starting from 23 V. Output is 220 V at 50/60 Hz on L+N+PE, regulated to 5%, with 2x rated surge for 5 s that carries motor start-up, and 30 A output overcurrent protection behind an air-switch overload trip. It accepts a sinusoidal utility or generator input from 90-280 V and, in line mode, passes that waveform through at better than 95% efficiency. RS485 talks to a battery BMS, RS232 to monitoring, an LCD with LED indicators reports state, and 6 units run in parallel. IP21, 0-40 °C operating. Warranty: 2 Years. We are an authorised Felicity Solar distributor and supply the IVPS3524 from our own stock.

Frequently Asked Questions

What battery bank does the IVPS3524 need?

24 V nominal. The IVPS3524 works across a 21-31.5 V battery window, starts up at 23 V and takes a single battery input, with AGM, Flooded, Li-Ion and Self-Defined profiles all supported.

How fast can the IVPS3524 charge from the mains?

40 A is the maximum charge current. Charging boosts at 28.8 V, floats at 27.2 V and is capped at 31.5 V, so a 24 V bank refills without a separate charger.

How much does the IVPS3524 weigh and how big is the box?

26 kg net and 29.4 kg gross, in a 552 x 408 x 295 mm carton. Those are the packed figures, not the unit's own dimensions, and the mass comes from the low-frequency transformer build.

How many IVPS3524 units can run in parallel?

6. Each unit is single-phase on L+N+PE and outputs 220 V at 50/60 Hz regulated to 5%, so a parallel stack keeps the same output figures.
