What protects the cells is the enclosure around them, and that is a printed figure rather than a judgement — each battery page states its protection degree. Read it, then put the bank somewhere that rating actually covers.
Lithium or gel for a Jeddah villa?
Compare them on the rows that actually differ rather than on the chemistry name: the depth of discharge, the cycle count and the charging temperature window are all printed on both, and they are what separate the two in service.
Can I add storage to a system that is already installed?
