The Felicity Solar T-REX-5KLP1G01 is a 5 kW single-phase hybrid solar inverter that accepts up to 6.5 kW of PV across two MPPT trackers, charges and discharges a 40-60 V battery bank at 100 A, and delivers 5 kVA at 230 V with a maximum efficiency of 97.6%. Each tracker carries one string, starts at 130 V, tracks from 100 to 500 V, holds full load from 220 to 500 V and takes 15+15 A up to the 550 V maximum PV voltage. AC output is 230 V on L+N+PE wiring, rated at 21.7 A, peaking at 25 A and at 30 A in backup, with THD below 3% and a 20 ms transfer time. The single battery input takes Lead-Acid and Li-Ion, self-adapting to the BMS over RS485 and CAN, and AC charging also reaches 100 A from a 184-264.5 V input drawing up to 40 A. European efficiency is 97% and MPPT efficiency 99.9%. The naturally cooled IP65 chassis measures 530 x 493 x 228 mm, weighs 32.4 kg net, runs from -25 to 60 °C and parallels up to 6 units. We are an authorised Felicity Solar distributor and supply it with a 2 Years warranty.

Twenty-five Felicity inverters are IP21 and every SCCM charge controller says indoor wall-mount. IP20, IP21 and IP31 are indoor ratings, and the first digit - the dust one - is the half nobody reads. Here is which listing carries which.

What the Beeps & Red Light Mean →An off-grid house is sized by surge, battery energy and charge current - and the surge row is the one that starts your fridge and your pump. Here are the published figures across the Felicity inverters and batteries, with the arithmetic to use them.
Read: How to Run a Whole House on Solar in Khartoum →6.5 kW is the maximum recommended PV power, spread over two MPPT trackers that accept 15+15 A of input current and 18+18 A of short-circuit current, one string each. The PV working range is 90-550 V, tracking runs from 100 to 500 V and holds full load from 220 to 500 V, the rated PV input voltage is 360 V, the unit starts at 130 V and the maximum PV voltage is 550 V.
100 A is both the maximum charging current and the maximum discharging current, into a 40-60 V bank on one battery input, for a maximum charge and discharge power of 5 kW. AC charging also reaches 100 A, drawn from a 184-264.5 V input at up to 40 A, and the charge algorithm self-adapts to the BMS over RS485 and CAN, with Lead-Acid and Li-Ion both supported.
5 kW rated output power and 5 kVA rated apparent output power, single phase at 230 V on L+N+PE wiring. Rated output current is 21.7 A, maximum output current 25 A and backup current 30 A at 5 kW, with twice rated power for 10 s of surge, THD below 3%, a power factor above 0.99 adjustable from 0.8 leading to 0.8 lagging, and a 20 ms transfer time. Maximum efficiency is 97.6% and European efficiency 97%. It runs at 50/60 Hz across 45-55 Hz and 55-65 Hz grid windows and is set for the CEI 0-21, G99, VDE 4105, EN 50549-1 and NRS 097-2-1 grid codes.
530 x 493 x 228 mm is the unit itself; the 632 x 570 x 315 mm figure is the shipping carton. It weighs 32.4 kg net and 39.1 kg gross, mounts on a wall, and its naturally cooled IP65 enclosure works from -25 to 60 °C with derating above 45 °C, in 0-100% relative humidity and up to 2000 m of altitude. Up to 6 units can be paralleled. The isolated, transformer-based design carries an LCD and LED display, RS232 and RS485 interfaces, a WiFi or GPRS monitoring module, and certification to IEC 62109-1 and IEC 62109-2.
