  • 145 V solar input from a 15V start-up

    The PV input accepts up to 145 V and the controller begins tracking from a 15V PV start-up voltage.

  • MPPT window of 60-130 VDC at 48 VDC

    Tracking covers 15-130 VDC at 12 VDC, 30-130 VDC at 24 VDC and 60-130 VDC at 48 VDC.

  • 4500 Watts / port of surge protection

    Each port carries 4500 Watts / port of transient surge protection, with 3-Step charging compensated at -5 mV/°C/cell @ 25°C ref.

The Felicity Solar SCCM8048-II is an 80 A MPPT solar charge controller that accepts up to 145 V of PV input and harvests 4400 W on a 48 V bank, 2200 W at 24 V or 1100 W at 12 V, converting it at up to 98% maximum efficiency into a 12V/24V/48V (Auto) battery bank. Tracking runs 15-130 VDC at 12 VDC, 30-130 VDC at 24 VDC and 60-130 VDC at 48 VDC, waking from a 15V PV start-up voltage so a cold or partly shaded array is put to work early in the day. A 3-Step charging algorithm with -5 mV/°C/cell @ 25°C ref compensation across 0 °C to +50 °C keeps the battery on the right voltage as conditions move, and every port carries 4500 Watts / port of transient surge protection. Communication is CAN (parallel), RS485 (BMS) and WiFi (built-in), with an LCD (built-in) showing the same readings at the wall. The 322 x 238 x 140 mm, 3.5 kg body is an indoor wall-mount unit rated IP20 (Indoor & Vented) for 0°C to +55°C ambients.
