About the Felicity Solar SCCM4548-II 45A Solar Charge Controller

The Felicity Solar SCCM4548-II is a 45 A MPPT solar charge controller that takes up to 145 V of array, 2500 W of it behind a 48 V bank, 1250 W behind 24 V or 625 W behind 12 V, and pours the result into a battery whose nominal 12V, 24V or 48V it reads for itself, at 98% peak efficiency. Array sizing is where that 45 A rating shows: it is the number that pins the PV ceiling at 2500 W for a 48 V bank. Tracking stays inside 60-130 VDC behind a 48 V bank, 30-130 VDC behind 24 V and 15-130 VDC behind 12 V, and gets going from 15V. A 3-Step algorithm runs the charge, corrected by -5 mV/°C/cell @ 25°C ref across 0 °C to +50 °C. Terminals take 4500 Watts / port of transient surge protection, an LCD (built-in) shows the state and CAN, RS485 and WiFi carry it. The case is 308 x 212 x 125 mm and 2.99 kg, rated IP20 (Indoor & Vented) for an indoor wall, running 0°C to 55°C.
