    The tracking range widens with the rating, converting at up to 98% maximum efficiency.

About the Felicity Solar SCCM30-120-III 30A Solar Charge Controller

The Felicity Solar SCCM30-120-III is an MPPT solar charge controller published in seven charge ratings — 30, 45, 45, 60, 80, 100 and 120 A — with 98% maximum efficiency, 3-step charging (bulk, absorption, float) for flooded batteries and a 20 V PV start-up voltage. Maximum solar input voltage climbs with the rating: 95 V on the 30-45 A models, 145 V on the 45-80 A models and 165 V on the 100-120 A models, while the MPPT window on a 12V battery widens from 18-80VDC to 18-145VDC. Maximum PV input power at 12V runs from 420 W on the smallest rating to 1650 W on the largest. Charging holds 14.40V absorption and 13.6V float with -5 mV/°C/cell compensation referenced to 25°C, active from 0°C to +50°C. CAN parallels units, RS485 carries BMS traffic and WiFi is built in, all read on the built-in LCD. The IP20 vented enclosure wall-mounts indoors and runs 0°C to +55°C at 0-90% RH, non-condensing.
