About the Felicity Solar SCCM2024-II 20A Solar Charge Controller

The Felicity Solar SCCM2024-II is a 20 A MPPT solar charge controller made for 12 V and 24 V systems, which it sets itself to as 12V/24V (Auto). Panel capacity is 280W on a 12 V bank and 550W on a 24 V one, drawn from an array no higher than 95V. Between those two figures the 20 A rating is what decides an install: it is why a 12 V bank stops at 280W while the same unit carries 550W once the bank is 24 V. The MPPT window runs 15-80 VDC on 12 VDC and 30-80 VDC on 24 VDC, opening at a 15V PV start-up voltage, and conversion tops out at 98%. Charging is 3-Step, corrected by -5 mV / °C / cell (25 °C ref.) over the 0 °C to +50 °C range. Status shows on an LCD (built-in) and travels out over CAN (parallel), RS485 (BMS) or built-in WiFi. The 0.9 kg, 240 x 170 x 102 mm case is IP20 (indoor & vented), made for indoor wall-mount and working 0°C to 55°C.
