About the Felicity Solar IVEM5048-SALV 5kW Single-Phase Off-Grid Solar Inverter

The Felicity Solar IVEM5048-SALV is a 5 kW single-phase off-grid solar inverter that outputs 127 V at 60 Hz and up to 50 A. One MPPT tracker accepts 6 kW of PV inside a 120-450 V working window, and the unit charges a 48 V battery bank at up to 100 A from solar or from the mains. The IVEM5048-SALV holds that 127 V output within 5% regulation as a pure sine wave, and its surge rating of 2x rated power for 5 s starts motor loads such as pumps and compressors. On mains it passes through and charges across a 65-140 V input, 90-140 V in UPS mode, and returns to battery in 50 ms. Line-mode efficiency is above 95%, while inverter-mode efficiency peaks at 93%. At 14.9 kg net and 17.3 kg gross the wall-mounted IVEM5048-SALV is rated IP21, uses intelligent air cooling and runs from -10 to 50 C. An LCD, built-in WiFi and RS485 to the battery BMS report status, and up to 6 units run in parallel. Certified to IEC 62109-1 and IEC 62109-2.
