What it means

GFCI over FaultGround Fault Circuit Interrupter (leakage current) over-protection.

Cause: Leakage (residual) current to ground exceeded the GFCI protection limit. The most common causes are moisture in PV connectors or damaged cable insulation creating a current path to ground.

How to fix it

  1. Power down the inverter, wait 5 minutes for capacitors to discharge, then restart.
