What it means
Grid Freq Low — Grid frequency below acceptable range.
Cause: Grid frequency has fallen below the regional minimum (typically 47-49 Hz for 50 Hz grids, 57-59 Hz for 60 Hz grids). The inverter trips offline to comply with anti-islanding standards.
How to fix it
- This is almost always a utility-side issue and clears automatically when grid frequency returns to normal.
- If the fault persists during stable grid conditions, verify the inverter's grid code setting matches your region (50 Hz vs 60 Hz).
- Have an electrician confirm there is no isolated/islanded section of the local grid.
