What it means
Bus Volt High — DC bus voltage high.
Cause: Internal DC bus voltage has exceeded safe limits. Usually caused by PV string voltage near the inverter's maximum DC input rating, or by a transient grid disconnection that leaves the bus charged.
How to fix it
- Verify total PV string voltage (Voc at coldest expected ambient) is below the inverter's maximum DC input rating.
- Common in cold mornings when Voc spikes 15-20% above STC value.
- Reduce panels per string if you are near the limit.
- For transient faults that self-clear, no action is needed.
