The Felicity Solar T-REX-40KHP3G01 is a three-phase hybrid solar inverter rated 40 kW and 40 kVA, accepting up to 52 kW of PV across four MPPT trackers, delivering 44 kW of maximum AC output and 40 kW of backup power, with a maximum output current of 63.8 A at 97.6% peak efficiency. Each tracker takes 36 A, tracks from 200 to 850 V after a 250 V start-up around a 600 V rated PV input, and works from a 150 V minimum DC input up to 1000 V. Two battery inputs carry an LFP bank across 160-800 V at 50+50 A of charge and discharge, talking to the BMS over RS485 and CAN. Output is 220-230 V per phase on 3L+N+PE wiring at 50/60 Hz, under 3% THD, with a 10 ms transfer time and 1.5 times rated power for 10 s. European efficiency is 97% and MPPT efficiency 99.9%. The wall-mounted IP65 chassis weighs 85.6 kg net, runs from -25 to 60 °C and parallels up to 12 units. We are an authorised Felicity Solar distributor and supply it with a 2 Years warranty.

Sana'a sits above 2,000 metres, and an inverter whose datasheet permits 2,000 m is not rated for the city at all. Here is the altitude row on 44 Felicity listings, model by model, and which ones cover your elevation.
Read: Which Solar Inverters Actually Work in Sana'a? →Twenty-five Felicity inverters are IP21 and every SCCM charge controller says indoor wall-mount. IP20, IP21 and IP31 are indoor ratings, and the first digit - the dust one - is the half nobody reads. Here is which listing carries which.
Read: Can I Install a Solar Inverter Outside? What IP21, IP31 and IP65 Really Mean →An off-grid house is sized by surge, battery energy and charge current - and the surge row is the one that starts your fridge and your pump. Here are the published figures across the Felicity inverters and batteries, with the arithmetic to use them.
Read: How to Run a Whole House on Solar in Khartoum →52 kW is the maximum PV input power, spread over four MPPT trackers that take 36+36+36+36 A of PV input current. Tracking runs from 200 to 850 V after a 250 V start-up voltage, around a 600 V rated PV input, from a 150 V minimum DC input voltage up to a 1000 V maximum PV voltage, at 99.9% MPPT efficiency.
40 kW rated output power and 40 kVA of apparent power, rising to 44 kW of maximum AC output at 63.8 A of maximum output current, three-phase at 220-230 V on 3L+N+PE wiring. It runs at 50/60 Hz from a 184-264.5 V input range, holds total harmonic distortion under 3%, adjusts power factor from 0.8 leading to 0.8 lagging, surges to 1.5 times rated power for 10 s and peaks at 97.6% efficiency, with 97% European efficiency. Grid settings cover NTS, UNE217001, UNE217002, CEI 0-21, NRS 097-2-1, NC RFG (Poland), VDE 4105, G99 and EN 50549-1.
160-800 V is the battery voltage range, carried on two battery inputs for LFP batteries at 50+50 A of maximum charging current and 50+50 A of maximum discharging current, backing up 40 kW. BMS communication runs over RS485 and CAN, the unit itself is reached over RS232 and RS485, and an LCD touch screen plus a WiFi or GPRS monitoring module report the bank. Transfer to backup takes 10 ms.
IP65 is the enclosure rating, so the wall-mounted chassis works outdoors from -25 to 60 °C with derating above 50 °C, in 0-95% non-condensing humidity and up to 3000 m of altitude with derating above 2000 m, under smart cooling. It weighs 85.6 kg net and 102.3 kg gross and ships in a 1114 x 774 x 469 mm package. The non-isolated unit carries overvoltage category III, surge protection level II, ground fault current monitoring and certification to EN 62477-1, IEC 62109-1 and IEC 62109-2, and up to 12 units can be paralleled. We are an authorised Felicity Solar distributor and supply it with a 2 Years warranty.
