About the Felicity Solar IOTH2407 WiFi Monitoring Module

The Felicity Solar IOTH2407 is a 2.4G WiFi monitoring module. It connects to compatible Felicity Solar equipment through an RS232 or RS485 port and joins a 2.4 GHz WiFi network, so the system's operating data can be read remotely rather than only at the unit itself. That is the module's whole job. It is a communication accessory: it carries data off the equipment and onto a network, and it does not add power, storage capacity or control functions of its own. Two serial interfaces are supported, RS232 and RS485, so the module can be used with whichever of the two the host unit provides. Before ordering, check the model list for the equipment you own, because the serial port available on that unit is what decides whether the module can be fitted. On the WiFi side, the network has to be broadcasting on the 2.4 GHz band. We are an authorised Felicity Solar distributor and supply the IOTH2407 from our own stock, and the module ships with the documentation that covers its setup steps and the monitoring platform it reports to.
