Fault — the ESS unit enters fault protection and stops normal operation until the fault is cleared — how it is shown (LED pattern or display code) depends on the model.

Cause: Leakage of fluorine or insufficient refrigerant; filter drier clogging; thermal expansion valve failure; water flow rate too low.
Leak check and replenish refrigerant; replace filter drier; check expansion valve and temperature sensing package; fix water system.
