Manufacturer: Shenzhen Felicity Solar Technology Co., Ltd.

Application: The Felicity Solar IVPM10048 is a single-phase off-grid inverter-charger rated 8 kW, 10 kVA apparent, at 220 V and 50/60 Hz, working from one 48 V battery bank. It refills that bank at up to 80 A from the utility and 120 A from solar, and accepts 6.6 kW of PV on a single MPPT tracker carrying one string. The tracker works between 65 and 145 V, with 170 V the maximum PV voltage. Battery voltage is followed across 42-63 V in three stages, boost constant current then boost constant voltage at 57.6 V then float at 54.4 V, with 61.0 V the maximum charging voltage; AGM, Flooded, Li-Ion and Self-Defined profiles are selectable on the one battery input, and a battery BMS links over RS485 while RS232 reports to a monitor. Line-mode efficiency is 95%, maximum efficiency 90%, and transfer between utility and battery takes 15 ms. The low-frequency transformer-based build weighs 55.4 kg net, holds 2x rated power for 5 seconds for motor starts, and is rated IP21 for indoor mounting from 0 to 40 °C. Up to 6 units run in parallel with batteries fitted. We are an authorised Felicity Solar distributor. Warranty: 2 Years.

Figures on this page are the manufacturer's own, measured at the test conditions the datasheet states — they do not change by country. What changes is the approval that has to be met before the unit is energised: in the UAE that rests with the local authorities (DEWA, ADDC, SEWA). Confirm the grid code, import requirements and any local certification with them, or with us, before you order.

Frequently Asked Questions

How fast does the Felicity Solar IVPM10048 charge a 48 V battery bank?

80 A. That is the maximum AC charge current of the IVPM10048 from the utility, and solar can add up to 120 A. Charging runs three stages, boost constant current, boost constant voltage at 57.6 V and float at 54.4 V, with 61.0 V the maximum charging voltage.

How big a solar array can the IVPM10048 take?

6.6 kW is the maximum PV input power. It arrives on one MPPT tracker with one string, so keep panel voltage under the 170 V maximum PV voltage and the working voltage inside the 65-145 V MPPT range. Solar charge current is capped at 120 A.

Which batteries does the IVPM10048 work with?

48 V nominal, tracked from 42 V to 63 V on a single battery input. AGM, Flooded, Li-Ion and Self-Defined profiles are all selectable, and a lithium BMS links over RS485. The inverter does not pass utility power through without a battery connected, so the bank is required, including for the 6-unit parallel mode.

What does the IVPM10048 weigh and how large is it?

55.4 kg net and 67.7 kg gross. The unit itself measures 584 x 420 x 195 mm and its carton measures 670 x 470 x 355 mm, so plan the wall or floor space from the first figure and the doorway from the second. It is a low-frequency transformer-based design, IP21, air cooled, rated 0-40 °C in use and -15 to 60 °C in storage.

Can the IVPM5048 charge batteries directly from solar panels?

Up to 6.6 kW of PV: the IVPM5048 has one built-in MPPT tracker working between 65 V and 145 V, with 170 V maximum PV voltage and up to 120 A of solar charging current into the 48 V bank.

How fast can the IVPM5048 charge from the grid?

50 A is the maximum AC charge current. AC input is accepted from 90-280 V in appliance mode or 170-280 V in UPS mode at 50/60 Hz, and pass-through current is rated 63 A.

What battery bank does the IVPM5048 need?

48 V nominal, usable from 42 V to 63 V. AGM, Flooded, Li-Ion and Self-Defined batteries are supported, charged in three stages - boost CC, boost CV, then float - at 57.6 V boost, 54.4 V float and 61.0 V maximum, with RS485 to the battery BMS.

How much does the IVPM5048 weigh and how many units run in parallel?

36.3 kg net and 39.7 kg gross; the unit itself measures 494 x 420 x 195 mm and ships in a 607 x 540 x 290 mm carton. Up to 6 units run in parallel, and a battery must be connected.

How much solar can the IVPM7548 take?

6.6 kW is the maximum PV input power, on a single MPPT tracker carrying one string between 65 and 145 V, with 170 V the maximum PV voltage. The solar charger is rated 120 A and the inverter begins working at 46 V.

How fast does the IVPM7548 charge from the grid?

60 A is the maximum AC charging current. Utility or generator input is accepted from 90 to 280 V in appliance mode and 170 to 280 V in UPS mode, up to 280 V maximum, and charging follows three stages, boost constant current then boost constant voltage at 57.6 V then float at 54.4 V, with 61.0 V the maximum charging voltage.
